DRAFT FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW — not yet in force

Privacy policy

Working draft — last updated June 2026.

The short version

Your documents are read once, analyzed in memory, and discarded. We do not store them, sell them, share them, or use them to train anything. We keep almost no data because we collect almost no data.

Documents you analyze

  • Document text (pasted or extracted from your upload) is processed in memory to produce the analysis and is not written to any database or file by us.
  • Uploaded files are parsed in memory on our server (including photo OCR) and discarded; the extracted text is returned to your browser for your review.
  • Live analyses are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) under a no-training, no-retention configuration. We do not enable live analysis until that data agreement is in place. [ATTORNEY: verify the executed DPA terms before launch.]
  • Action artifacts are generated from the analysis already in your browser; the document itself does not round-trip again.

Data we do keep

  • Email address — only if you opt into updates, only for sending them, removable anytime by unsubscribing or emailing us.
  • Renewal Watchdog reminders — only if you ask us to watch your deadlines: your email plus the deadline dates and their one-line labels from your analysis. Never the document itself. Every reminder email carries a one-click unsubscribe that deletes the whole record; expired records are deleted automatically.
  • Payment records — processed and stored by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. A signed unlock cookie (containing no personal data) marks your purchase in your browser for 30 days.
  • Anonymized outcome reports — only if you explicitly opt in to share how a matter went, stored without your name, business name, or document contents.
  • Operational logs — standard server logs (timestamps, status codes, and IP addresses used for rate limiting) retained briefly for abuse prevention and debugging; never document contents.

What we never do

  • Sell or share your data with anyone, for anything.
  • Use your documents to train models — ours or anyone else's.
  • Accept money from the institutions whose documents you analyze.
  • Require an account to get an analysis.

Your choices & contact

Don't want us to have something? Don't opt in — the product works without it. To remove an opted-in email or ask anything: [CONTACT EMAIL — set before launch]. California, Virginia, and similar state-law disclosures: [ATTORNEY: complete state-specific sections before launch.]
